This painting was part of the exhibition in Madrid at Monat Gallery. And now it’s time to fly out and inspire.

The exhibition was about “Anuket”

“Nowadays, in the western world, blue color has inherited a negative connotation and it is used in sentences like “I feel blue today” or the concept of the “Blue Monday” to participate in the shopping for the sake of shopping.

Here, we want to come back to an old meaning, as Anuket is the goddess of water and sometimes the mother of the king. In ancient Egypt, the blue of the waters personified the female principal and simbolised the realm of gods. Therefore, it seems just right to see the following exhibition, where the artists can be seen as goddess in their realm, powerful images made by their hands. As gods create life, sometimes in Egypt through the word, in here these female artists bring different worlds to life through painting.

This is a space of freedom and sensitivity, as for confidence and wisdom, also concepts related to blue, where you can find yourself surrounded by the power of them.”
